Home Pedicure Technique

  • Foot Soak: Fill a bowel with warm water; add a pinch of your favourite Pampering foot soak or Spa additive, and Soak your feet for 10 minutes to soften, refresh and revive hard working feet.
  • Foot Scrub: Use the Exfoliator For Feet, paying special attention to hard and dry areas.
  • Towel dry your feet
  • File Heels using the Heel Rasper/ Heel File or Scrub Stone to smooth cracked heels
  • Use the Towel again to remove any dry skin left over from filing
  • Massage feet and legs gently or deeply depending on your personal needs and comfort level using the Massage oil or Moisturiser – I always use Moisturiser for the massage and add a few drops of oil for extra glide. I feel like moisturiser on its own usually absorbs into the skin too quickly.
  • Clip Toenails nice and short. Make sure to clip them straight to prevent ingrown toenails
  • Push Cuticles back using the cuticle pusher, use the cuticle nipper to remove any excess skin – be careful and gentle to avoid hurting yourself
  • Remove Nail Polish: Use cotton wool and nail polish remover to get rid of any old, peeling and cracked nail polish
  • Repaint nails with your favorite colour/s. **Tip: To ensure nail polish is long lasting: use a base coat first, then colour and apply a top coat afterward.
  • Once nail polish has dried, apply cuticle oil to the nail bed and massage in. **Tip: For the maintenance of healthy nail growth, use cuticle oil weekly.
  • Powder feet to soak up any excess oil. The powder will also soak up any perspiration and prevent food odors later.
  • User Spritzer as and when necessary to cool, sooth and relieve tired, hot and swollen feet – in an instant

Sh’Zen Spa Additive For Feet Review: Doctor In A Tub

“This powerful product is not only great for feet, but is an amazing all-over pick-me-up. I have very sensitive skin and I love how it soothes irritations and leaves my feet feeling soft” Jacqui

Benefits Of Regular Foot Massage:

Just like your neck, back, and shoulders, your feet can also benefit from a regular rubdown. Foot massage improves circulation, stimulates muscles, reduces tension, and often eases pain. It also gives you a chance to check out your feet so you can get a jump on treating blisters, bunions, corns, and toenail problems. – Harvard Health Publishing Harvard Medical School
